The Speak Up system was put in place to allow anyone in contact with LEMAN Group – employees, customers, suppliers, subcontractors, temporary workers, interns, partners or any other stakeholder – to report a situation which they consider contrary to the Code of Conduct, the Group's values or applicable regulations.
Reports can be made anonymously or by name.
Each alert is examined with seriousness, impartiality, and confidentiality. The information gathered undergoes thorough analysis to accurately understand the reported facts, protect those affected, and, where necessary, define appropriate corrective actions.
The findings of the investigations are transmitted to the relevant governance bodies of LEMAN Group, in particular to the Management Committee, in order to decide on the measures to be implemented.
LEMAN Group guarantees that no retaliatory measures, direct or indirect, will be tolerated against a person who has made a report in good faith.
This device can be used to signal, in particular:
- A violation of human rights;
- A situation of discrimination, harassment or inappropriate behavior;
- A breach of health, safety or environmental protection rules;
- A breach of data confidentiality or cybersecurity;
- A conflict of interest, an act of corruption, or a practice contrary to business ethics;
- Behavior that does not comply with the Code of Conduct or any other concerning situation.
Expressing a concern, asking a question, or reporting a worrying situation helps to keep things alive the values of LEMAN Group and contributes to maintaining an ethical, transparent and responsible work environment.
