Family industrial group with international operations

Foundation

In 1971, Florent BONTAZ, a graduate of ENPH, founded LEMAN INDUSTRIE, following the acquisition of the ROCHE company (metal cutting).

His sons, Philippe BONTAZ (current CEO of the Group) and Jean-Claude BONTAZ joined the company in 1986 and 1990 respectively.

Passionate about product solutions, they set themselves the goal of providing the best response to each need for parts or subassemblies. The 90s were marked by the integration of a know-how in molding and plastic injection, complementary to the historical know-how of metal transformation. The following decade, technical mastery extended tometal-plastic assembly and mechatronic solutions.

Development dynamics

The development dynamics of LEMAN INDUSTRIE results in industrial, economic and international growth.

The gradual expansion of know-how (engineering, cutting, injection, overmolding, assembly, wiring), the evolution of the workforce (5 employees in 1971, 200 in 1992, 845 in 2016, 1200 in 2020), the creation of subsidiaries (Tunisia in 2002, Romania in 2005, China in 2008, Morocco in 2014, EMT Industrie France and Hungary in 2018) demonstrate a industrial strategy solid and controlled.
