A reliable, competitive and innovative supplier panel
LEMAN industrie maintains solid and lasting partnerships with around a hundred specialized suppliers: suppliers of materials (metals and plastics), suppliers of surface treatments and heat treatments, suppliers of equipment and automation, specialized design offices, bar turners, etc. All are certified ISO 9001 (at least) and master the tests and controls required by their profession. Its policy is oriented towards the continuous improvement of quality, competitiveness and innovation.
Proven approval and assessment processes
The supplier approval process includes in particular an advanced study of technical expertise (BE), production resources and collaborative capacities.
LEMAN Industrie evaluates its supplier panel each year using a grid that meets at least the requirements of ISO 9001, including various economic, qualitative, and logistical criteria. Enhanced monitoring is implemented as soon as a quality alert is detected.
Suppliers are assessed and monitored according to the 4 axes of the group's purchasing policy:
Performance & productivity (power of proposal, etc.)
Proven quality (certification, quality alert, etc.)
Logistics (service rate, EDI, batch size, etc.)
Process and practices through innovation & continuous improvement
Co-development and collaborative agility
LEMAN industrie is experienced in co-development. Beyond its expertise in cutting, tooling, injection, overmolding, machining and assembly, its engineering capacity is at the heart of its positioning and allows it to provide each Client with optimized technical and production solutions. Its high expertise in project management and its multi-site organization allow it to effectively mobilize ad hoc skills and integrate the specific requirements of each project (example: location of prototyping, imposed material supplier, etc.).
Its suppliers are trained in this collaborative organization. When they obtain the status of “premium” supplier, they can intervene, in co-business, in the development of solutions and in project engineering.
